We landed in Sydney Australia around 5:30am and couldn’t check in to our hotel until 1:00pm so we dropped our backpacks off at the hotel and decided to walk to the beach. We didn’t have data yet so it was a bit of a struggle but we eventually found it.

After walking the beach, we went and walked down the streets in the suburb of Sydney called Brighton-Le-Sands. We then decided that we should figure out how to get to the phone store, Telstra, so we could get data for our phones while we are here. Finding out that Ubers cost $50 or more to get to a destination that was 20 mins from us, we decided to figure out how to get around on the buses and trains which were much cheaper!

We finally were able to go and check into our hotel. We got settled and got ready to go check out the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

We walked around the Sydney Harbour for quite a while. And then the jet lag kicked in, so we decided to head back to the hotel room for an early night.
