Breanna & Brodie – Australia Trip

Saturday, November 23

Today is our last day on the boat. We started the morning off bright and early again at 6:30 where we then had breakfast. After breakfast the crew opened up all the water slides on the boat as well as the jumping platform. We swam and did the water slides for about 2 hours. It was finally sunny and nice out today!!

We then had lunch on the boat which was hot dogs. After lunch we started making our way back to Airlie Beach which took about 3 hours.

When we arrived, we went back to our hostel and did some laundry and relaxed for the rest of the evening. The boat really exhausted us haha!

Sunday, November 24

Today, we started the morning off by getting some groceries and walking around Arlie for a bit. We headed back to the hostel and hung out at the pool for a few hours.

We then got picked up around 1:30 for a scenic flight.

The scenic flight was absolutely amazing. One of our favourite things we have done this whole trip so far.

We flew over the Whitsunday islands, whitehaven beach and part of the Great Barrier Reef!

If you watch that video, you will see a part of the reef that is shaped like a heart. It is called Heart Reef and is known to be one of the top most photographic things in Australia!

After our scenic flight we headed back to our hostel and got ready to go for supper with Amber, Matt and their kids. (Amber is one of Mom’s friends who now lives in Australia).

Monday, November 25

Today started off early as we got picked up at 5:45am to go sky diving!! We were both super nervous and scared but we are so happy we did it. It was such an amazing experience. We were 15,000 feet above ground when we jumped!!

We free fell for about 45 seconds and then when the parachute opened we were in the air for about another 5-6 mins. We would both skydive again, it was so cool!

After skydiving we headed back to the hostel and made some breakfast. In the afternoon we enjoyed the pool again and then went for a walk. We stopped and played cards in a little park for a while.

The rest of the night we just hung out at the hostel!
